Three-piece punk band Lady Bird released their latest single ‘Reprisal’ today and it is available to hear on all major platforms now. The release comes after multiple teaser video clips were posted over the past few days onto the band’s social media accounts in a successful effort to excite fans.
The song follows a breakthrough year for the Kent-based trio, having played numerous major festivals including Leeds and Reading, The Great Escape and Boomtown Fair, as well as releasing debut EP ‘Social Potions’ in February this year and single ‘Boot Fillers’ in August. Besides all of that they were also chosen by punk duo Slaves to be the first band signed to their record label Girl Fight Records and launched their EP on the label alongside playing three back-to-back launch shows in Brighton, Tunbridge Wells and London.
New single ‘Reprisal’ has a music video to go with it and also comes with the release of tickets for their first headline UK tour that will take place in March and April next year. The band are also heading out on tour with Slaves and Amyl and the Sniffers this November with most dates having sold out. As well as that, last week they announced a headline Christmas gig at the Tunbridge Wells Forum on the 23rd of December with support acts still to be announced. They have also confirmed their first festival date of 2019 hopefully with more to come.
