Leeds-based band Avenoir released their latest single ‘Orpheus and Eurydice’ yesterday and it is available to hear on all major platforms now. The alt-rock/ grunge four-piece who claim to be “too loud for your parents, too distorted for indie kids, just right for you” also released a music video to accompany the song. The video switches between the band performing the track and actors playing out a storyline and was produced by Declan Creffield. The song itself was produced by Mike Heaton and mastered by CD Unity whilst the lyrics were written by Sammy Cooper.
The young band have played a host of gigs at the likes of Leeds O2 Academy, The Key Club and Chapel as well as scoring a slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at Leeds & Reading Festival in their short few years. If you fancy catching them live to experience their vigorous energy for yourselves, and hearing their latest banger in the flesh, they have two upcoming announced gigs. One on the 24th of this month supporting the tremendous Faux Pas at The Key Club in Leeds and the other is on the 11th of May supporting the wonderful Regiment alongside the great Calina also at The Key Club.
